La petizione verrà presentata il prossimo 30 giugno alla Corte Suprema. Se sarà accolta si andrà ad elezioni presidenziali anticipate. I Fratelli Musulmani temono il successo inaspettato dell’iniziativa e organizzano manifestazioni di piazza e una contro-petizione a favore del presidente. Pericolo per possibili scontri.

La "longa mano islamista" conquista l'Egitto, sospetto terrorista nominato governatore di Luxor.

Il presidente Morsi nomina 17 nuovi governatori provinciali. Sette militano nelle fila dei Fratelli Musulmani. Proteste a Luxor, Ismailia, Gharbiya e Menoufiya, città natale di Mubarak. Il movimento pro-democrazia "The Rebel" raccoglie 13 milioni di firme per delegittimare Morsi.

I nostri bambini finalmente in vacanza!

Dal 23 al 30 maggio scorsi, i nostri ragazzi dello "Sheraton" hanno passato una settimana di vacanza nel villaggio di Beni Suef. Suor Teresa mi ha scritto dicendomi che si aspettavano di trovarmi lì! ... magari :-) mi sarebbe piaciuto ...  sarà per un'altra volta. Comunque mi ha detto anche che si sono divertiti tantissimo e che, come accade a chiunque quando sta bene e si diverte, non sarebbero più venuti via! Con loro c'erano Padre Giovanni, George e Suzy e due ragazzi grandi, Romani e Davide come aiutanti.

Beh, guardate le foto e ditemi se non sono davvero felici, se non hanno davvero passato una bella settimana anche lavorando al Progetto Maestri Burattini.

In fondo metto anche il programma della settimana così, tanto per poterli immaginare meglio nelle loro giornate.

Il Cairo, migliaia di giudici protestano contro l'islamizzazione della società

I manifestanti chiedono la cancellazione della legge sul pre-pensionamento dei funzionari giudiziari. Circa 13mila giudici verrebbero mandati in pensione. Per i leader della protesta la mossa è un tentativo dei Fratelli Musulmani di mantenere il potere anche in campo giudiziario.
